Berlin, Germany

At the beginning of this month, my husband Tim, Timmy and I traveled to Berlin, Germany, where I was born.
Unfortunately we only had one week to explore Berlin and meet up with good old friends but we had a blast.
We started the week off with a celebration in honor of our
1st year anniversary. It was great to see everyone and even a friend from Austin who was in Berlin at the same time joined the celebrations.
I love my family and it was great to spend quality time with them. I always get so much strength from the visits back home and talking to my mom at night on the large balcony for hours is one of my favorite things to do.
We also had the perfect weather over there. It was warm and nice. Peter took care of Timmy. Him and Mom and spoiled him.
The week flew by, we were out and about most of the time.
Then it was time for us to say goodbye to Berlin again. br />Next time we will stay longer than one week.

Now, being back in Austin for almost a week now, I reflect back on the great times we just had last week and realized they are already so far away and I wish I could bring my family and friends over there.
